MCAC brings you Ace Cafe Competition Car Night September 3rd

Middlesex County AC are organising the first ever competiton car night at the iconic Ace Cafe in North West London on Saturday 3rd September from 6pm. Everyones welcome and if you've got a rally car/ competiton car then why not bring it along for the evening. It will be a free opportunity to show off your car and chat to fellow motorsport enthusiasts. Nothing like this has been held at the Ace cafe before and were really excited to be the first to organise it with the hope it might become a regular feature. We have space for around 50 cars in Ace's car park with additional parking nearby. I will update this posting as details are finalised. MCAC are a vibrant active car club based at Uxbridge cricket club and have many members competing regularly from Rallying to Racing.
So put the date in the diary and come along for the evening.

Aaah , just had a wallow in nostalgia, the old ACE CAFE.
Spent many a night there back in the 19--s [ bloody hell , was it that long ago ]
Up to the 59 club [ Hackney & Paddington ] then to the ACE. Had a BSA Gold Star DBD34, then a Triumph T120 Bonneville, black leather jacket & blue jeans .
A long time ago , but what would either of them be worth now , [ the bikes , not the clothes ]

Further to my first post a few details have been firmed up.
Firstly we have space for around 40 competition cars without being too cramped. These will be on a first come first served basis so please apply in advance if you thinking of bringing a vehicle. Email either martinm@mcac.co.uk or guya@mcac and you will be allocated a space. Competition cars of any description are welcome so get your place booked. Its ideal to show off your car to motorsport fans and get your sponsor some free exposure. It should be a great night so why not come and join us for the evening and have a drink or burger whilst looking around.

Dont forget this saturday night at the ace Cafe! We have a good selection of competition cars now confirmed but space for more!

I'll drag my old man along too, he was a regular there in the 50's - which probably means you'll have to listen to a few of his stories!!
