Hi, i wanted to let rally enthusiasts know about a great event i'm involved in, THE SUCATA RUN.

On August Bank Holiday, we will drive our scrap heap of a 'banger' (worth no more than £250 - that's the rule!) from Rouen, the historic capital of Normandy, to Cabo da Roca in Portugal - Europe's most westerly point. On the way I'll be seeing some of the world's most stunning scenery including the vineyards of Bordeaux, the breathtaking Pyrenees and the golden beaches of Spain and Portugal.

It's basically a banger rally to raise funds for London-based education and international development charity Gemin-i.org. The team that raises the most money will then walk away from the beach party finale with a luxury holiday for 6 in the Algarve - that's what i'm aiming for!

It'll be a great laugh all for a worthwhile cause and i want to get other people on board! All you need is to have held a driving license for a year, a sense of adventure and you it'll be a summer bank holiday to remember. For more information, see www.sucatarun.com or contact me directly.
