Pembrokeshire Motor Club is planning to run this event at this very popular venue. A bit of a different event to our normal stage events, this will give you a chance to have a blast for quite a bit less than the normal entry fee.
Perhaps better known as a Rally Sprint, this is the type of event where only the driver has a go at driving around a stage of up to 4 miles in length without the benefit of a navigator. In other words, it is run along the lines of a Sprint but can take place on mixed surfaces as opposed to tarmac only. The route is arrowed exactly the same as for a full-blooded stage event. Usually the start and finish are near to each other.
Cars start at between 30 and 60 second intervals. There is at least 1 practise run followed by between 3 and 5 Timed Runs during the course of the day.
A car can be used by more than 1 driver, provided each holds the correct licence and each driver puts in an entry. The entry fee is to be confirmed, but is expected to be LESS THAN £100!
This is very good value for money, and there's something for everyone, fast straights and twisty stuff, so it doesn't favour any particular kind of car.
