Hemicuda Tarmac Rally - Belgium

Both the Atlantic Car Club and the Hemicuda Car Club are proud to announce the ninth edition of the Belgian Hemicuda Rally on September 26 -27th.
This will mean that Koekelare will again be the centre of Flemish rallying for a full weekend.
The location of the rally centre, podium, service area and regroup will, like on previous editions be located at Willaert Builders Merchants yard where everything will be centralized.

This years edition will include a 105km of tarmac stages, 1% being loose surface.
With stages as ‘Gistel’, ‘De Mokker’ and ‘Hovaeremolen’ all unchanged since last year, and a completely new stage ‘Kortemark’, we can present a total of eighteen stages on narrow, winding and slippery Flemish tarmac roads, divided over four and a half rounds.

After scruutireering and signing on, the cars will go in to the overnight parc fermé on Saturday evening. Cars will exit the parc fermé on Sunday morning from 07.30 allowing a 30 minute service before heading to start stage 1.

The 2009 Hemicuda Rally has been inscribed on the NEAFP list, and thus allowing foreign competitors holding a national competition licence to enter for this event. All group N, group A and group R (previously homologated in group N or A cars) are eligible for this event, there will also be a historic section (MSA historic eligibility).
The Hemicuda clubman rally counts for the VAS regional rally and historic rally championship, and, the Provincial rally and historic rally championship 2009 of the five Flemish provinces.
