Promoted by King’s Lynn & District Motor Club, in association with the Royal Air Force and the RAFMSA, 13-14th September sees the inaugural running of this event at RAF Marham, near Swaffham, Norfolk (see existing thread at http://www.britishrally.co.uk/rally/viewtopic.php?t=15859).
Regs and entry form are now available to download from the event website, entries officially open on 14th July but can be posted in advance of the official entry date.
On offer are 8 stages and approximately 90-100 miles of superb sealed surface over 2 days, from Saturday lunchtime to Sunday evening. Also planned are an event party on the Saturday evening (including live music, hog roast and bar ), a memento package for each competing crew and various ‘special guests’ either competing or supporting the event weekend.
All proceeds from the event will be divided equally between the Richard Burns Foundation (incorporating the Michael Park Fund) and the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, two very worthwhile causes and central to this event. We also extend our gratitude to our event sponsor – Hylton Gott Subaru – for their support.
Camping will be available over the weekend for competitors and marshals, in an area adjacent to the airfield, so why not stay onsite and make it a full weekend of motorsport? If this isn’t your thing there is a comprehensive list of local accommodation on the website too, but we recommend you book early.
