Big thanks to all who suported the Auction and Charity Night at the Llandudno Junction Community Club last night (Tuesday 14th). You really did us proud - the auction, ticket sales, raffle and other donations will mean a final figure over £4,000 - all towards two very worthy causes.
Huge thanks to Howard Davies for compering the show in his usual inimitable style (!) and a big thanks to the Community Club for their very generous support towards the cause.
Hope the other evening functions go as well as ours did - and good luck to the cyclists and support crews (chase cars?) as they make their way to Swansea.

Can I take this opperrtunity to thank every one involved in the WRC-BRC charity cycle challenge last week, be it by sponsoring the event, cycling, driving a van, sorting out web site, up dating web site, organising the charity evenings, making the food en route, goffer/photographer, hosting the evnings, guest speakers every one who turned up to support us in an capacity en route, in which making a megga unforgetable week for all involved and in doing so raising the awareness of our causes. I had the most amazing week of my life, which I will never forgett. Ive met so many new friends along the way, its an experience very hard to describe unless you've experienced it yourself, but Thank you all very much for showing your support it makes all the hard work worthwhile. And to those still wanting to donate to our chosen charities you can still do so by clicking the giving button on our web site http://www.wrc-brc.co.uk please help us beat last years total, you all know how inportant these 2 charities are to us in the motorsport fraternity and indeed in every day life. I look forward to seeing your name on the donations list.

I'm starting my own mobile cycle mechanic service this year, and I currently build and service bikes for a World Cup competitior and a British Championship team in Downhill Mountain biking. If the ride is repeated next year, I will gladly offer my services to support the riders' mechanical needs, as I currently work in the Afan (Resolfen) Forest and the Air Ambulance is a valuable and extremely underfunded resource that seems to be utilised by visitors more each year. I'd like to contribute to keeping this service running as effectively as possible as I've witnessed 1st hand the benefits of such a service to the Mountainbiking community. I'm currently trying to organise a race event based based on stage rallying and holding an event at all of the classic Welsh Forests to promote a link between the sports. If we can raise funds for the Air Ambulance as part of this, I'd be keen to do so. If i can be of any assistance in any way please contact me via the forum messaging service, and I'll be happy to provide further details and contacts to assist with further fund raising events. Many Thanks, Kevin.
