Regulations are available and entries are now open for the Hankook Merrick Stages Rally on Saturday 4th September.

Voted as the best event in the Hankook MSA Scottish Championship for two of the last three years, the "Merrick" has moved its base to Wigtown, the spiritual home of the old Baldoon Stages.

Despite the move, the Dumfries and Galloway event retains one of the most compact formats in the championship.

Glentrool Forest will again form a vital part of the overall rally route of nearly 45 miles.
This year competitors will be given the opportunity to tackle almost 19 consecutive miles on what's regarded as one of the best stages in the country.

The Glentrool Mini Rally will continue to run in conjunction with the main event, offering competitors a reduced mileage of approximately 30 stage miles, which forms the counter in the Five of Clubs Championship.

The "Merrick" is also a round of the Brick & Steel Ecosse Challenges, and the Scottish Borders Championship.

Historic cars will be given an opportunity to run in front of the main field, but only if organisers can guarantee a minimum number of entries in Class 6, two weeks prior to the event.

In addition to continuing to offer an incentive to ALL overseas competitors, the organisers will also refund entries to two crews, should the milestone of 100 starters be reached.
